Aston Carter IT Administrator in Loveland, Colorado
Key objective(s) (short description)
Provision, configuration and maintenance of client and server systems and various System and network administration
Maintenance and administration of existing user systems
User support and helpdesk for the users
Fault analysis and troubleshooting
Independent procurement of IT equipment
Main tasks:
IT Helpdesk, allocate and solve problems with assigned systems
Manage improvement projects related to all storage, server, and backup systems.
Ensure that servers and services are appropriately updated and patched, ensuring system security and reliability
Support and administration of existing applications
Initiate and manage upgrades and procurement of replacement equipment as required
Participate in daily meetings
Assist in prioritization of projects based on customer input and company priorities
Maintain high standards in terms of written materials/documentation, including system level documentation, change management notifications, infrastructure/ incident reports and monitoring anomalies
Qualifications:
High School degree; Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field preferred or comparable education
3+ years of relevant experience
Good knowledge of the Microsoft client and server environment and Active Directory
Knowledge in the field of network technology
Outstanding communication skills required (written and verbal)
High degree of initiative and hands-on mentality
Systematic and solution-oriented way of thinking ability to work in a team, binding and friendly expression
