Pay: Competitive hourly rate starting at $23/hour, plus a $2/hour shift differential for night shifts.
What You’ll Do
As a ChemKey Operator III , you’ll play a critical role in the production process, ensuring high-quality products and seamless operations. Your duties will include:
Production & Quality Assurance
Operate multiple production machines to produce quality products according to build signals and specifications.
Inspect products visually and dimensionally to ensure compliance with department standards.
Maintain and record traceability data for quality control purposes.
Material Handling & Setup
Gather raw materials and prepare equipment for production runs.
Mix chemical solutions and prepare chemical standards according to detailed instructions.
Handle inventory tasks, including material handling, cycle counting, and restocking raw materials.
Safety & Maintenance
Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
Ensure equipment is safe and operable, following lock-out-tag-out procedures when necessary.
Documentation & Reporting
Accurately perform data entry in systems like Oracle, ARIBA, and Kanban for LOTS, scrap, and work orders.
Record daily activities on Cell Boards and other visual management tools to maintain clear communication with your team.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
Participate in team meetings to plan daily work, solve problems, and suggest process improvements.
Support kaizen and other lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Assist in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of new equipment and processes.
What We’re Looking For
Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, stand, and lift boxes or materials regularly during a 12-hour shift.
Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of machine operations and troubleshooting is a plus.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in following instructions, mixing chemicals, and maintaining records.
Self-Motivation: Drive to perform independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Commitment to Safety: Awareness and adherence to workplace safety and hazardous material handling procedures.
