Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the of computer programs and systems. Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Provide staff and users assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems. Review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes. Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer address. Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared. Determine computer software hardware needed to set up or alter system.three (3) Systems Analyst positions available:Qualifications/Requirements:Systems Analyst Level I positions require: Bachelor's or Equivalent in CS or related analytical quantitative field.Systems Analyst Level II positions require a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in CS or related quantitative or analytical field & 2 yrs of exp. in offered position or computer professional or a closely related occupation.Systems Analyst Level III positions require a Master's Degree or equiv. in CS or related analytical or quantitative field of study. In lieu of a Master's degree, employer accept a Bachelor's in computer science or related analytical or quantitative field of study & 5 years of exp. in offered position or as a computer professional or related occupation.Acceptable Fields of Study for all three positions: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, including Electronics/Electrical, Software Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, & Industrial Engineering. Bus.
