Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Louisville, Kentucky
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the financial industry, based in Louisville, Kentucky. This role entails monitoring key performance metrics, financial modeling, supporting fiscal management efforts, and conducting in-depth operational and financial reviews.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to recommend actions to improve operational performance
• Collaborate with senior leadership to model optimal financial performance for the business
• Foster an environment of fiscal management across all levels
• Review accounting for revenue and expense accruals and provide gross profit variance analysis
• Conduct detailed reviews of individual locations, focusing on locations with significant variances to monthly budgets
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain business solutions
• Interpret results using various techniques, including data aggregation, statistical analysis, and data mining
• Understand complex business processes and create reporting solutions for efficient operational management
• Present data related to operational trends and solutions to clients
• Work with attention to detail and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
• Provide analytical services support for senior management, focusing on actionable cost-containment opportunities
• Ensure all reporting is produced timely and provides valuable information to understand current business trends
• Work on ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned.
Skills:
• Expertise in Business systems, Confluence, CRM, Crystal Reports, and Data Mining Techniques
• Proficiency in About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal clients. Requirements • A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role as a Financial Analyst or in a related field
• Proficiency in business systems and Confluence
• Previous experience with CRM systems is essential
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports and data mining techniques is a must
• Knowledge of 'About Time' software is preferred
• Must possess a strong understanding of accounting functions and auditing processes
• Experience with budget processes and capital management is necessary
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
