Are you a strategic leader passionate about driving cost optimization and supply chain excellence? At GE Appliances, we’re seeking a Senior Purchasing Program Manager – Refrigeration to oversee product cost management for our Refrigeration product line. In this role, you'll directly impact our profitability and innovation while collaborating across teams to ensure a seamless supply chain and best-in-class product delivery.

How You'll Create Possibilities
As the Senior Purchasing Program Manager, you will:
Drive Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives through supplier negotiations, part consolidation, and innovative strategies.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Technology, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Supplier Quality to understand product expenditures and execute cost-out objectives.
Strategize and Execute: Lead competitive-cost and make-vs.-buy analyses, develop supplier strategies, and oversee sourcing activities specific to the Refrigeration product line.
Support Product Development: Partner with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to launch programs profitably and on time, while aligning sourcing strategies with business goals.
Ensure Supply Chain Excellence: Address supply constraints, monitor supplier capacity, and solve long-term delivery challenges to achieve 95% in-stock rates.
Mentor and Influence: Guide team members to meet key metrics while representing sourcing interests in business change requests and implementation boards.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 5 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, program management, or commodity management.
Strong skills in supplier management, negotiation, and collaboration.
Excellent communication and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven business acumen with analytical and organizational expertise.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Willingness to travel 10–20% domestically (and possibly internationally).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
Experience in purchasing program management or commodity buying.
Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
Global sourcing experience with a diverse supplier base.
