Universal Health Services Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity - 3 -6 Month Temp in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky
Responsibilities
The Brook Hospitals is hiring RNs for full-time hours 7a - 7p (36 hours) including rotating weekends for a 3 to 6 month temp assignment. This position has the opportunity to become a full-time permanent position after the temp position. C andidates employed by any UHS facility within last six months are not eligible for this position.
3 TO 6 MONTH TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT - $60 PER HOUR!

The Brook – Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults.
The RN participates in treatment planning as a member of interdisciplinary team; provides assessment of patients’ psychiatric and medical status; a dministers medication and medical treatment as prescribed by physician; assess, direct and intervene in crisis situations; provide and direct milieu management, and additional tasks as needed. Best candidates for this position will have behavioral health experience, a strong work-ethic, and highly consistent timeliness and attendance!
Job Duties
Initiate and document special treatment procedures.
Document nursing care, treatment and patient’s response to treatment.
Provide health education to patients.
Attend mandatory training and in-services.
Participate in the implementation of Nursing Department policies and procedures.

Qualifications
A valid State of Kentucky (RN) (Registered Nurse) License is required.
Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is required.
CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation if needed.
Candidates employed by any UHS facility in the last six months are not eligible for this opportunity
