QuesTec Service HVAC Service Technician in Louisville, Kentucky
QuesTec HVAC Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment. QuesTec HVAC Technicians are a primary contact for the client and are expected to represent QuesTec with the utmost professionalism at all times.We offer a great benefits package to our HVAC Technicians, including Employer Paid:Medical insuranceDental insuranceShort term disabilityLong term disabilityLife insurance2 weeks vacation to startPRIMARY DUTIESWe are looking for someone with awesome HVAC experience in Food Service Equipment: Ovens, fryers, steamers, charbroilers, kettles, dish washers, griddles, walk-in coolers, ice machines, etc.Install, repair, maintain or replace heating & cooling systems, ventilation, refrigeration, and/or component parts according to requirementsFollow systematic questioning techniques and troubleshooting guidelines to determine unit/equipment functionality and/or failureCommunicate unit/equipment issues to manager and clientsPromptly and accurately complete all required paperwork daily, documenting in detail all work performed and/or installed as well as all time associated with calls/projectsAvailable to service emergency calls on week days, week nights and weekends, managed on a consistent "on-call rotation"QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS2-5 years of residential or commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshootingValid Kentucky, class D driver’s license and clean driving recordEPA certificationMinimum of a high school diploma or GEDStrong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret diagrams, plans and manualsAttention to detail and quality of work performedAbility to work independently, with excellent time management skillsGood communications skills, both written and verbalGood organizational skillsAbility to safely operate a motor vehicleObserve and abide by all Company procedures and safety rulesAbility to work and interact with others in a positive manner*QuesTec Mechanical is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
