Robert Half HR Generalist in Louisville, Kentucky

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in the transport industry based in Louisville, Kentucky. The role is an HR Generalist, focusing on various aspects of human resources including benefits management, recruitment, onboarding, and record maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Handle benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Double-check applications to verify all necessary information is provided and accurate

• Carry out filing tasks to maintain organized records

• Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection

• Handle onboarding tasks for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company

• Maintain records diligently, ensuring all employee information is accurate and up-to-date

• Use ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for various HR tasks

• Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for effective recruitment processes

• Operate Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time for HR management and timekeeping

• Manage Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration, ensuring fair and compliant practices

• Oversee compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

• Handle Employee Relations, fostering a positive work environment. Requirements

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Proficient in Ceridian and HRMS software

• Familiarity with About Time software

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions within the transport industry

• Demonstrated ability in Compensation Administration

• Comprehensive understanding of Compliance regulations within the transport industry

• Experience in managing Employee Relations

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven experience as HR Generalist in the transport industry

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Familiarity with current HR best practices and industry trends

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
