Heavy Civil / Highway Construction Laborer

Experience/Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age
1 year construction site experience required
Bridge construction/repair work experience a plus
Roadway and concrete paving experience a plus
Proficient in knowledge and use of various construction equipment, hand and power tools preferred, but not required
Education/Licenses:
High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Valid Driver’s License
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor
Load or unload materials used in construction
Operate pavement breakers; jackhammers; earth tampers; concrete, mortar, and plaster mixers
Assemble and dismantle temporary equipment or structures.
Service and clean machines, including pumps, compressors, generators, paving equipment and concrete saws.
Assist crew members by using manual labor, shoveling, and/or operating power tools.
Physically Demands:
The employee must be able to walk and/or stand on their feet throughout the entire day up to 8-10 hours daily. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

This is a full-time hourly position. Benefits:

Job Recruitment Information:
