Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking candidates for a material handler position in a plastic pipe extrusion company. The role involves removing pipe from extrusion machines, placing and stacking them onto racks, and banding up the pipe once the rack is full to prepare it for forklift transport to scales for weighing. There is an opportunity for forklift certification and promotion to an extrusion operator position with higher pay. Responsibilities also include performing visual checks of the pipe and loading defective items onto scrap pallets.

Pay: $17-$18 an hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Louisville, Kentucky.
Work Environment
This is a large company with several divisions, and this site specifically manufactures plastic piping. Shifts are from 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am, on a 2,2,3 schedule. Employees work every other weekend, and over a year, they have 5 to 6 months off. The environment is dusty and not climate-controlled.
