Job Description:
Job Summary
The Finance Supervisor performs financial analyses (e.g., rate of return, depreciation, working capital, etc.) and revenue/expense comparisons for customers, products, and financial performance. He/She compiles and prepares reports, graphs, and charts; builds and maintains complex financial models; and prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in Healthcare Logistics & Distribution operations, sales, finance, and other areas. This position prepares and presents financial information for individuals within and outside the work unit and works closely with supervisors, managers, engineers, and controllers.
Responsibilities:
Conducts Ad Hoc Analyses on Financial Issues
Conducts Pricing Model Updates
Reviews Client Contracts
Reviews New Business Proposals
Conduct data mining and analysis to extract insights and make recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements to enhance productivity and profitability.
Provide financial guidance and support to field operations, including cost analysis, to optimize performance and achieve business objective.
Qualifications:
Finance/Accounting or other Business-related degree preferred.
Demonstrates an understanding of basic financial terminology and concepts such as operating profit/loss and net income.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Power BI experience is a plus.
Excellent oral, written, and interactive communication skills
Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
Experience with enterprise finance and accounting systems – Preferred.
Candidate must reside in the Louisville, KY metro area or within reasonable driving distance.
