University of Louisville Dental Receptionist (Graduate Practice) in Louisville, Kentucky
Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent and one or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Grade 1 (Hourly).Position Description:The University of Louisville School of Dentistry prepares students for a career in Dentistry. Graduate Practice Clinics is where residents provide dental care directly to patients. The School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Receptionist to work front desk at the UofL Graduate Practice located at 501 S. Preston Street, Louisville, KY. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet, direct and interview patients.Enter demographic data in the computerized patient information system.Answer telephone calls and handle inquiries.Schedule patient appointments.Compile patient charts.Serve as cashier; accept payments from patients; enter financial data into computer; issue receipts; balance cash drawer at end of day; set up payment contracts; work with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations; track payments and troubleshoot issues.
