Mercer Transportation Customer Relations Advocate in Louisville, Kentucky

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pmEssential Job Functions:Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, addressing inquiries, concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.Listen actively to drivers' concerns and work collaboratively to find effective solutions.Interact with drivers via inbound calls, outbound calls, emails, and other communication platformsRespond to inquiries promptly and clearly with enthusiasm and tact.Ensure customer discrepancies are investigated and resolvedAvailable to engage with contractors/drivers as requested to maintain an ongoing professional and productive relationship. This may include lunches, trade shows, and after-hours business networking events.Performs all other duties as deemed necessary from Contractor Relations management.Requirements:Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an empathetic and patient approach.One year of customer service experience, relationship management or similar roleOne year of experience in a transportation industry role.Proficiency in using communication tools and software for tracking and managing interactions.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
