Insight Global Cabling Technician in Louisville, Kentucky
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Cabling Technician to join a small team in Louisville Kentucky to support commercial projects. This role will have some travel, but the majority of projects are within a 30-minute commute of Louisville Kentucky. The Technician will be a part of a 2 or 3 person crew that is responsible for installation and termination of low voltage voice and data cabling such as fiberoptic, networking (ethernet), camera, and phone. In this role, this person will need to be comfortable reading 2D drawings, lifting up to 50 lbs, and climbing ladders. Previous experience in construction or IT related fields if preferred for this role as well. Additionally, this role does require a valid driver license but would not be required to drive a company vehicle while on contract. This is a 6-month contract to perm opportunity with an hourly compensation range of 20-25/hr with the opportunity for overtime.

Skills and Requirements
2+ years of IT or construction trade work experience
Mechanical/electrical aptitude (conformable reading 2D drawings)
Ability to travel overnight when needed Any cabling or cable terminating experience
Low voltage or fiberoptics experience null
