POSITION SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

He/she will administer and manage the retirement plans by communicating, educating, ensuring compliance, implementing improved processes, coordinating with vendors the transmission of data and acting as a liaison between Texas Roadhouse and vendors. Routine work is performed independently following set procedures. The work is reviewed for accuracy through spot checks and observations of the employee at work. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of retirement plans

  • Administer and manage all aspects of employee retirement plans

  • Maintain participant and accounting records

  • Ensures retirement plans are compliant with federal laws and regulations

• Process, input, and maintain retirement plan information and other demographic information in HRIS system and/or benefits administration system in a timely manner.

  • Determine employee eligibility and manage plan enrollments.

  • Handle complex issues and problems

  • Analyze invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors.

• Coordinate with vendors the transmission of data feeds to maintain the integrity and timeliness of data and resolve any necessary issues.

• Collaborate with other departments such as payroll, accounting, HRIS, and IT to develop and resolve process items as needed.

  • Develop and analyze reports to support benefits strategies and objectives.

  • Complete regular audits of retirement programs to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Communicate benefits information clearly and concisely, translating complex data and information in an easy to understand manner to plan participants.

  • Monitor and respond to email and phone inquiries with Legendary Service.

  • Educate employees on all aspects of retirement plans.

  • Analyze and resolve claim issues while maintaining compliance.

  • Research, analyze, and draft materials for various benefit meetings.

• Participate in the planning and coordination of benefit initiatives, changes, and events, including open enrollment.

• Administer other benefit programs, and policies, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, disability, FMLA, tuition reimbursement, wellness, vacation, etc. as needed.

  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Always maintain confidentiality of Human Resources information.

  • May come in contact with company trade secrets, confidential information, and intangible assets

  • Provides other support as needed to the Benefits Team

  • Partner with operations and field People Department

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor of Science in Human Resources, Business Management, Communication, Finance, or related field. Extensive experience may be considered in substitution of education.

Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of applicable Human Resources with a minimum of two years administering retirement plans.

Certification: RPA, CEBS, PHR, SPHR, CBP, SHRM – CP preferred

Computer Skills:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ultimate Software or Workday experience preferred

  • Bswift experience preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT An office environment in a controlled atmosphere building
