Robert Half is supporting the recruiting efforts of a company in the retail industry to find an Accounting Manager. This is a full time, permanent position in Louisville. It is 100% in office, and is paying $70-75k. Additional information and job requirements are below. Responsibilities:

• Conduct bank reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency in our financial records

• Carry out credit reconciliation tasks to maintain up-to-date and accurate credit records

• Oversee inventory reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate accounting of all inventories

• Handle and resolve any issues related to sales and use tax

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR) to ensure timely and accurate payments

• Oversee and process payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time

• Utilize Sage 100 for various accounting functions, including generating and adjusting journal entries

• Provide supervisory management and oversight to ensure all accounting tasks are completed effectively

• Utilize your skills in accounting functions, automated payroll, bank reconciliations, and supervisory oversight to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.

Reports to: General Manager

Requirements

• Sage 100 is required,

• 5+ years in full cycle accounting

• Knowledge of payroll (minimal)

• Supervisory experience
