UCLA Health Student Research Assistant - REST in Los Angeles, California
Description
The REST study is seeking a Student Assistant to work on the collaborative research study 'REST' at UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter willing to assist in the following duties for the study:
Download and organize actigraphy watch data already collected from UCLA Health System
Clean actigraphy watch sleep data from each participant using Action 4 (specific software for actigraphy watches)
Format data in a legible format using a protocol provided by the project coordinator
Under the direction of the project coordinator, assist with physically moving study visit data files in between cabinets
Under the direction of the project coordinator, assist with a variety of research data administrative tasks as required
This position will require ON-CAMPUS WORK. With this position, we are unable to grant remote employment.
**Must Be a current UCLA Student.
Pay Range: $17.60 - $29.00 hourly
Qualifications
Must be a current UCLA Student
Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Experience and familiarity with actigraphy watch data and/or using Action 4 preferred but not required
Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and work cooperatively with other staff members
Ability to come in-person to work
Organizational skills and attention to detail required
