UCLA Health Student Health Clinical Specialist (Part-time) in Los Angeles, California
The department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part-time Clinical Specialist to join their UCLA SHIP/Managed Care Program. In this key position, you will evaluate and provide therapy to UCLA students referred by the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).Qualifications
*Must have and maintain California MSW/MFT license in good standing
*Must have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social work or related mental health field. A PhD is also acceptable, but not required.
*Must be able to apply for and maintain UCLA Medical & Professional Membership in good standing at all times
*Experience/skill in interacting with professional healthcare providers in a multidisciplinary setting
*Ability to develop rapport and working therapeutic alliances with patients
*Working knowledge or general theoretical and clinical models
*Must have strong work ethic, consistent attendance and punctuality
*Must have strong computer skills
*Strong self-management and organizational skills
