Description
We are seeking a Sr. Accountant based in West Los Angeles. This role is hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including full cycle GL month-end close, technical accounting issues, and supporting the Director on budgeting and control framework. This role is in the finance industry and requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting full cycle GL month-end close, including accruals, analysis, and reconciliations
• Acting as an audit POC - CLA
• Handling technical accounting issues
• Performing tax work
• Assisting the Director with budgeting and control framework
• Utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP
• Performing account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations
• Handling general ledger and journal entries
• Overseeing the month-end close process.
Requirements
• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant
• Proficient in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
• Knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
