Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to support, maintain, and optimize our Bizerba weigh price labeling system. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and upgrading hardware and software solutions to ensure the smooth operation of production lines. Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Configuration:

  • Install and configure Bizerba weigh price labeling systems for seamless integration with production lines.

  • Calibrate scales, label printers, and peripherals to meet operational requirements.

  • System Maintenance:

  • Conduct regular maintenance to ensure system reliability and accuracy.

  • Replace worn parts, clean components, and apply software updates as necessary.

  • Troubleshooting and Repairs:

  • Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions to minimize downtime.

  • Provide emergency repair services and collaborate with production teams to prioritize issues.

  • Upgrades and Optimization:

  • Recommend and implement system upgrades to improve performance and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with IT and production teams to integrate Bizerba systems with existing technologies.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed service logs, recording repairs, replacements, and updates.

  • Provide regular performance and maintenance reports to management.

  • Training and Support:

  • Train production staff on system usage and basic troubleshooting techniques.

  • Act as the primary contact for escalated system issues.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Bizerba hardware and software solutions, including troubleshooting and maintenance.

  • Strong knowledge of scales, label printers, and industrial automation systems.

  • Familiarity with ERP system integration is a plus.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical team members.

  • Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks independently.
