Robert Half International Receptionist in Los Angeles, California

Description

One of our clients, a boutique talent agency in West Hollywood, is seeking a receptionist on a temporary-to-full-time basis. This role will go full-time for the right candidate. Job duties include rolling calls, managing contact lists, researching topics, scheduling and calendar management, maintaining the office space, updating client information, and troubleshooting other office issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in the entertainment industry and discretion as they have celebrity and high-end clientele. Hours are 9:30AM-6:30PM and pay is $17/hr. What you get to do every single day

  • Have strong prioritization skills and a sense of urgency

  • Manage various office files and provide general office filing support

  • Place orders for office and kitchen supplies

  • Arrange, review, and distribute incoming mail according to specified procedures

  • Be an asset to other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks

  • Welcoming visitors

  • Handle and route all incoming phone calls

Requirements

  • Experience with minute taking

  • Proven knowledge of presentation preparation

  • General familiarity with calendar managements and scheduling appointments

  • Conference room setup & cleanup experience

  • Well-founded grasp of scheduling

  • Deep understanding of email

  • Knowledge of meeting coordination and planning

  • Filing experience

  • 2+ years of related experience

  • Customer service and office administrative skills

  • Detailed and have the ability work independently

  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Energetic, intelligent, resourceful, solution-oriented, and tech-savvy

  • 1 or more years of experience handling multi-line phone systems

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
