DLA Piper is seeking a 3rd-5th year litigation associate to join its Media, Sports & Entertainment practice group in the firm’s Century City (Los Angeles) office. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience practicing intellectual property and commercial litigation at an AmLaw 100 firm. Candidates must possess strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school, excellent writing skills, and the following experience:
• Drafting briefs, pleadings, and other written work product
• Making court appearances and conducting oral argument
• Preparing for and conducting depositions
• Managing multiple significant matters at once
• Taking on a leadership role in cases and in the firm in general
