UCLA Health Laboratory Assistant II in Los Angeles, California
In this role, you will work with our senior staff to prepare blood samples for testing using various laboratory equipment; maintain all laboratory records; comply with the correct procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations; conduct laboratory tests, analyze results, and document your findings and responsible to perform blood processing/banking.
In this role, you must follow all lab regulations for health and safety; maintain meticulous laboratory notes and record data in computer databases; maintenance of SOPs for general experimental procedures, order and log lab materials and store appropriately; follow all safety and procedural regulations.
Previous experience with tissue culture and above mentioned molecular biology techniques;
Demonstrated computer skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, html, and Photoshop.
Ability to create and maintain databases, solving computer-related problems.
Ability to communicate effectively to convey experimental results.
Ability to maintain laboratory readiness for future experiments.
