UCLA Health Lab Assistant I in Los Angeles, California
Description
The Department of Medicine is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of the laboratory manager and personnel to support various tasks including preparing reagents, conducting gel runs, and assisting with cell culture procedures.
Hourly range: $19.32-$22.37Qualifications
Required:
Ability to take specific laboratory directions
Knowledge of basic laboratory safety, protocol and animal handling
Experience Assisting with routine laboratory experimentation
Skill in working with basis laboratory equipment
Ability to communicate via email in a timely fashion
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry or medical background
