GENERAL SUMMARY:

Searching for a Junior Digital Art Director to join our team. This person will have an exceptional visual design background and will be passionate about crafting unique, compelling, and contemporary visual designs. The successful candidate will be a dynamic Junior Digital Art Director with an innovative mindset and a passion for solving complex visual problems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating best-in-class mobile-first digital experiences for our diverse portfolio of clients.

We are looking for a candidate who can work closely with other Art Directors to create and communicate concepts and implement strategies. They will have a strong understanding of design systems and have experience collaborating with Experience Design (XD) and Development teams.

They will possess a knowledge of usability, UI and UX Design. This person will have an informed set of core values regarding user experience, technology, and business communication and also have the ability to present their concepts eloquently and concisely.

­­­Day to Day:

  • Collaborate with XD and Dev teams to conceptualize, design, and execute engaging digital experiences.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, strategy development, and concept presentations.

  • Collaborate with managers, engineers, and designers to develop elevated experiences and ensure integrity in final products.

  • Be responsible for researching and designing thoughtful and seamless experiences that delight end users and customers

  • Communicate and articulate concept rationales to clients and team members

  • Incorporate feedback from clients, team members, and stakeholders to refine designs.

  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.

  • Participate in an environment that fosters high-quality creative output, respect and team collaboration.

Experience/Qualifications: To qualify, you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of mobile-first visual design experience.

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of digital design and execution.

  • Creative agency experience is strongly desired.

  • Experience using the latest version of Figma; building out structures containing component variables and variants.

  • Submission of portfolio that shows a range of user-focused desktop & mobile-design solutions.

  • Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution.

  • Balanced interaction design skills, visual design sensibilities and understanding of how disciplines work together.

  • Knowledge of motion graphic and interaction design skills.

  • Experience and/or interest in 3D interaction patterns and interfaces both in 2D planes and within a 3D space.

  • Understanding of UI and current web best practices.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of agile development processes and rituals is a plus.

  • Candidate must be open to travel as needed.

Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Skills and Abilities: This person must be highly organized with a charismatic and varied communication style.

Compensation Range: $59,000 - $82,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
