Atlas IT Technical Support Specialist in Los Angeles, California

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated IT Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers the opportunity to provide vital IT support to our team, ensuring that our systems run efficiently and that users receive top-tier assistance with their technical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
System Monitoring & Maintenance:
Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Regularly perform system checks, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure all hardware and software are up to date and functioning correctly.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide technical support through various channels (email, phone, in-person) for issues related to software, hardware, connectivity, and programming.
Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow and productivity.
Set up and configure new systems, software, and hardware, ensuring smooth implementation and integration for end users.
For Senior-Level Role:
Lead and manage the help desk team, overseeing daily operations and performance.
Evaluate team performance, develop and implement customer service standards, and ensure that the team is meeting productivity goals.
Review, test, and implement technical solutions to enhance productivity and streamline internal processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional or similar) are a plus.
Experience:
0-5 years of experience for Junior Level – Providing general technical support for end users in a professional setting.
5-10 years of experience for Mid-Level – Advanced troubleshooting and support experience with the ability to handle more complex technical issues.
15+ years of experience for Senior Level – Extensive experience in IT support, with a focus on managing help desk operations and implementing solutions to improve overall IT service delivery.
Compensation:
$30hr-$60hr
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
