Internal IT Audit Manager

$130K - $150K + 100% covered M/D/V for employees and dependants

3x onsite per week in Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley), CA

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Internal IT Audit Manager in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team to ensure compliance with SOX for IT Audit, working with controllers in a complex environment, and overseeing remediation processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team including a Senior Auditor and co-sourced resources

• Ensure compliance with SOX for IT Audit within the organization

• Work directly with controllers in a complex environment to ensure successful audit processes

• Oversee remediation processes to rectify, resolve, or mitigate identified weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and non-compliance issues

• Utilize strong attention to detail to work through information and pinpoint underlying root issues

• Utilize strong interpersonal skills to assist in areas outside of direct assignments when necessary

• Show commitment to self-improvement and completion of team objectives

• Ability to multitask and remain flexible against changing priorities

• Understand and develop alternative solutions for issues in a dynamic environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint functionality

• Experience performing assessments of IT cyber-security, data protection and/or PCI is a plus

• Data analytics skills & experience a plus

• Ability to travel internationally for business (approximately once per quarter for up to two weeks each time)

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Auditor or in a similar role

• Big4 external audit experience preferred

• Proficient knowledge and experience with Audit Program and Auditing process

• Strong understanding of Business Systems and their functionalities

• Familiarity with CobiT framework for IT management and governance

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Ability to assess Application Controls and propose improvements

• Proven track record in identifying Audit Findings and proposing appropriate remediation

• Strong knowledge of Compliance laws and regulations related to IT

• Excellent Documentation skills to properly record audit processes and findings

• Familiarity with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its implications

• Experience in Remediation planning and implementation to rectify identified issues

• Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
