UCLA Health FF&E & Design Project Coordinator - Real Estate | Planning, Design, & Construction in Los Angeles, California
Description
As an FFE & Design Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Real Estate | Planning, Design, and Construction team completes projects on-time and on-budget for the UCLA Health System. Your role will focus on overseeing Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) management within the Hospitals and Medical Office Buildings throughout Los Angeles County. Primary duties include:
Assist with space planning and FFE studies.
Develop interior design, finish, furniture, equipment, signage, and art selections.
Review proposals, contracts, and construction documents.
Support move planning, logistics, installation, and licensing.
Coordinates hand-off to UCLA Health client upon project substantial completion.
Independently manage smaller design and construction projects.
Oversee project reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

The full hourly salary range for this position is $36.49 - $76.05. Please note - the department's target pay range is $37.00 - $42.00/hour.
Qualifications
- Must have at least one year of experience in design and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE). * AutoCAD and/or Revit experience, preferred. * Ability to analyze data and create accurate spreadsheets, graphs, and charts for management report. * Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Bluebeam, preferred.* Knowledge of building codes, UCLA standards, and accessibility regulations, preferred.* Familiarity with California Building Code, Title 22, and HCAI (OSHPD) requirements, preferred.* Ability to organize and facilitate projects.* Ability to interpret legal and technical documents.* Skill in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines despite workload changes.* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
