Description
Established and growing law firm has an immediate for a newly licensed attorney. The primary function of the role is to handle eminent domain cases, representing property owners. This entry-level litigation role offers an exciting opportunity for new attorneys to gain hands-on experience in the field of eminent domain law.

Responsibilities:
• Handle a caseload of eminent domain cases, representing property owners
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and proceedings
• Engage in discovery processes to gather necessary information and evidence
• Represent clients in court appearances, advocating for their interests
• Work under supervision and guidance, receiving training in all aspects of the job
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all case proceedings
• Use case management software to manage workflow and case progression
• Utilize Adobe Acrobat for document management
• Draft legal briefs and other documents as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and information about their cases
• Manage billable hours, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.

Requirements
• Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a licensed attorney in the state of California.
• Demonstrated ability in Civil Litigation is required.
• No minimum years of experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must adhere to professional ethics and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Must be able to maintain client confidentiality.
• Strong negotiation skills are essential.
• Proficiency in the use of legal software and technology.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
