This Opportunity
WSP is looking for a Document Control Manager to join our Project Controls team in Los Angeles.
Your Impact
Duties and Responsibilities:
Influence the narrative by understanding what needs to be done. Support the Project vision and initiatives.
Implement efficient work-flow process, monitor daily activity, implement modifications.
Administer the existing “Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) DCP/QA/QC Plan”
Work within the existing “Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) DCP/QA/QC Plan”
Maintain documentation in SharePoint, SharePoint Online, Ineight, e-Builder, Procore, Aconex, ProjectWise or comparable platforms.
Work with Information System Mgmt. Team for access, security and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of document management process and procedures and systems
Provide Document Management support to entire project team:
Retrieve files Upload / Download files from EDMS, Manage Document Naming, Convention, numbering, assigning, distribution.
Process Incoming/Outgoing Transmittals and documentation
Initiate and track document reviews
Master Drawing Control and Drawing Maintenance
Monitor and Manage the Electronic Document Management System
Ensure that electronic record files as required are maintained in good order to comply with QA and contractual requirements
Produce reports on documentation and progress as requested
Perform reoccurring training on Document Management Requirements and EDMS use.
Optimize Document Control productivity, efficiency, and service quality across all departments.
Work with project department leads to ensure timely processing of documentation along with any future updates.
Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum 7-10 years of Document Control experience working on design, construction or similar projects including start-up and closeout processes.
Working knowledge of SharePoint, SharePoint Online, Procore, ProjectWise, Aconex, InEight or comparable systems.
Advanced computer and word processing skills using MS Office applications including SharePoint
Manage/Co-Manage Document Control Team Members as required
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to coordinate several high-priority deadlines simultaneously
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical knowledge of industry documents, records and data management systems
Demonstrate experience with typical Microsoft office applications, such as Word, Power Point, Excel and Visio
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $114,000 - $169,290
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
