Customer Service Representative - Patient Refunds 2546812 A leading hospital and clinic is looking for a Customer Service Representative for the Patient Business Services department. The selected candidate with handle refund requests and reimbursements, including processing requests, reviewing the daily credit balance report and adjusting transaction Customer Service RepresentativePay and Benefits: • Hourly pay: $21/hr • Worksite: Leading hospital and health care system (Los Angeles, CA 90024) • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL • 40 hours/week, 2 Month Assignment (possibility of extension) Customer Service RepresentativeResponsibilities: • Retrieves and review documentation, refund correspondence, contact payer to discuss (if necessary) refunds requests, correct misapplied transactions and process refunds. • Review daily credit balance report, process insurance refunds, retrieve EOR and validate the appropriate contract terms used, apply appropriate adjustment or transactions necessary to process refund or resolve credit. • Prepare and submit refund disputes letters to payers timely. • Summarize and document account expected reimbursement and all payment and adjustments transactions clearly and accurately. • Document all activity taken to an account in the (HIS) Hospital Information System (Epic). • Write clear, concise and grammatically account notes in Hospital Information System (Epic). Customer Service RepresentativeQualifications: • Patient overpayment review and refund experience. • Self-pay collections experience. • Epic experience.
