Netflix Coordinator, Production Finance Operations & Innovation in Los Angeles, California

The Role

The Production Finance Operations and Innovation (O&I) Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the PF O&I team across a range of workflow and data-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in Production Finance or Production Accounting, a passion for driving innovation, identifying workflow efficiencies, and a demonstrated interest in data.

This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, supporting multiple projects globally.

Responsibilities:

Production Finance Workflows and support

  • Track group projects through completion

  • Ensure that project needs are met timely and help identify areas for operational improvements

  • Collaborate with a wide variety of cross-functional partners including other Finance teams, Labor, Production Management, Tech partners, and many more

  • Facilitate broad communications to the Production Finance team in order to socialize business updates and collect key deliverables for business partners (Internal Audit, Treasury, and Risk Assurance, etc)

Data related

  • Support projects related to data analytics

  • Consolidate and maintain key data points for future reference (i.e. model assumptions, crew counts, sample shows, etc)

  • Conduct data quality assurance testing, identifying and resolving any issues with data accuracy and completeness

Payroll related

  • Manage the collection of digital start paperwork updates across several business teams

  • Collaborate with payroll partners to ensure start packets are updated timely

  • Gather and organize workflow and payroll partner feedback from members of the Production Finance team

  • Pull payroll reports using payroll company tools

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, entertainment, or data related fields helpful but not required

  • 2+ years of experience in Production Finance, Production Accounting, or other Entertainment Industry areas preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of SQL or an interest in learning

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and global teams

  • Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day

  • Detail-oriented but also interested in understanding the bigger picture

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000-240,000.
