UCLA Health Chief of Staff to Chief Medical Officer for Ambulatory Care in Los Angeles, California

In this role, you'll collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer for Ambulatory Care (CMO-AC) in driving strategic and operational excellence. This will involve managing the project portfolio and overseeing resource allocation while tracking progress and facilitating the achievement of strategic plan deliverables and milestones. You'll conduct research, analyze data, and provide recommendations to support decision-making, as well as prepare communication materials, coordinate stakeholder meetings, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
In this role, you will:
Direct and oversee administrative activities under the CMO-AC
Serve as a subject matter expert on ambulatory care administration
Optimize resource allocation and enhance operational efficiency
Lead a team working on projects and programs, providing training, guidance, support, and mentorship
Facilitate communication and collaboration between the CMO-AC and other internal and external stakeholders
Salary Range: $78,800 - $175,000 AnnuallyQualifications
We're seeking a self-motivated, collaborative, team-oriented administrative professional with:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Five or more years of relevant management experience required
Prior experience supervising employees, including selection, training, work assignments, and review, motivation, and performance appraisal
Experience in managing complete lifecycle of a project, including directly or indirectly leading cross-functional teams preferred
Experience in leading, facilitating, and implementing new programs and/or projects
Skill to research and analyze information, problems, situation, and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns, and formulate conclusions
Excellent communication skills to obtain and convey correct and complete information and concepts to individuals and groups in formal and informal situations; Ability to make presentations to senior and executive management
Demonstrated skill (intermediate to advanced level) in the use of personal computers and software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications, project management platforms, customer relationship management systems, database management, and analysis
