The Opportunity
Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group is searching for a Catering Sales Manager to join our team at The Kitchen For Exploring Foods in Los Angeles, California. As a Catering Sales Manager, you will develop and execute sales strategies for off-site events, create and maintain client relationships and identify partnerships and new business opportunities. Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented, has extensive catering sales experience and knowledge, and can develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans while maximizing revenues.

The pay range listed below is the base salary for this position. This role is also eligible for 4% uncapped F&B commission.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $68640 - $73700 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
Partner with leaders, clients, and catering staff to plan and execute exceptional events that meet guests’ requirements
Attract new wedding and social accounts, meet with new and existing clients, provide tours of facilities, review event details, and produce event contracts
Handle guest relations pre and post-event ensuring quality assurance standards are exceeded throughout the client journey
Participate in industry-related events such as bridal fairs and other local and regional events
Develop quarterly action plans highlighting how you leverage your markets in order to achieve financial plans
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ catering sales experience working in a hotel, catering, or hospitality company
Experience with off-site events, sales, and marketing practices
Strong desire for customer care and exceeding guest expectations
Demonstrate initiative, leadership, and team-building skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
No degree required
