The anticipated salary range for this role is between $115,000.00 and $150,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

JOB SUMMARY:
The SCMC will work in partnership with Relationship Managers and Bank units to generate new cash management business while maintaining relationships with clients. Using your deep cash management product knowledge, you’ll provide a suite of cash management solutions that will bring value to the client’s cash flow practices.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
Lead client discussions regarding of cash management products
Strong sense of ownership and full accountability as a sales officer
Prepares Sales Presentations
Ability to develop, build and nurture relationships with clients and colleagues
Consult with clients to develop a deep understanding of their needs and the ability to provide tailored solutions
Demonstrated leadership in driving sales initiatives and achieving targets
Prepare and present proposals to clients and explain the cash management services being recommended
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service/relations skills
Meet with clients in-person when necessary.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
5 or more years of related experience
Extensive knowledge of Cash Management Services
Experience working with Commercial Real Estate, Mid-Market, and Franchise clients
Detail oriented and strong time management skills
Solid understanding of deposit transactions, and use of good judgement
Ability to learn multiple bank systems to service customers.
Familiarity with FIS Horizon, Q2, and Dragonfly is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.
Ability to travel locally and nationally for client meetings
