TricorBraun Robot Workcell Technician - Forklift Required in Longmont, Colorado

We’re looking for a skillful Robot WorkCell Technician to join our CanSource Team to help operate and maintain a Kuka robot workcell that palletizes and de-palletizes digitally printed jobs on aluminum cans.

Your role here

From Day 1, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a KUKA robot work cell and associated equipment such as conveyors, pneumatics, and sensors. You will load and unload material and pallets from the robot work cell and trucks. You will be able to troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors, perform quality checks of the finished goods, and develop working relationships with the internal team.

Your experience and background

  • 3-5 years of experience with high-speed pallet loading/unloading automated equipment including conveyance system

  • Forklift experience is required, ability to stack and organize WIP and supplies a plus

  • Familiar with KUKA Robots/Allen Bradley Controls/HMI interfaces or equivalent equipment and controls

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial machinery, conveyance, and line control

  • Knowledge of adjusting, servicing, lubrication settings, and exchanging components

  • Ability to operate and monitor daily palletizing systems for beverage containers, including stacking, wrapping, and strapping finished goods

  • Good communication skills and ability to use Microsoft Office products

  • Working with light chemicals (such as ink) and being around magnetic-field machinery
