Temporary position

Job Purpose/Overview

This position is responsible for Quality Control of one or more products and will require hands-on routine analytical testing. The role may also support other areas of operations including assembly of product kits, packaging, or basic manufacturing steps. This position requires strong attention to detail and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform assay performance quality control for manufactured lots of disposable cartridges and analyzers

  • Generate calibration for manufactured lots of disposable cartridges.

  • Generates data for compliance with specifications and reports abnormalities.

  • Assembles product into kits by following documented work instructions

  • Checks own work to ensure quality.

  • Hands-on position.

Education and Experience

  • No specific education or experience requirements

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Work experience in quality control, manufacturing, or other area of operations preferred, but not required.

  • Experience using computer programs to document work is preferred.

Working Conditions

Work will be performed in an office, laboratory, and process assembly/manufacturing environment. Able to use standard office equipment (computer, phone), know and understand laboratory safety protocols, and operate in an around process assembly equipment. Able to walk, stand, bend, twist, lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

The Target Pay Range for this position is $21.00 Hourly. At Mars, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
