Job Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for providing project management support and coordination to cross-functional project teams and clients ensuring that project deliverables are accomplished as outlined in the project’s development plan. In addition, this position will help coordinate project progress and completion with business operations to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition. As a Project Manager 1, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams to ensure that projects are completed with the deliverables and timeline described in the project’s scope of work. These projects may cover individual or multiple services including analytical chemistry, process chemistry, formulation development, and manufacturing. Some projects may span multiple locations.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will interact with business development, proposal writers, clients, and operational teams to onboard new projects, identify resources required to support the project deliverables and schedule, and track projects to completion.
For your assigned projects, you will be responsible for facilitating project team meetings, routinely updating key stakeholders on project status, escalation of issues, and coordinating other administrative duties as required.
You will be responsible for understanding project financials including the project budget, tracking, and reporting of effort expended relative to the budget, initiation of change orders if required, and coordination with finance as needed for revenue recognition.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements
The requirements below are for a Project Manager.
A Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in the life sciences with minimally 2+ years of related industry experience
Experience managing projects preferred
Basic understanding of CDMO industry, Cambrex capabilities and pharmaceutical life cycle
Computer Understanding in Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
A higher level of experience and education would qualify a candidate for a the Senior Project Manager position:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in the life sciences with minimally 6+ years of related industry experience including at least 4+ years of managing projects (preferably in the capacity of a Project Manager).
Qualification in project management (PMP certification) or equivalent preferred.
Advanced understanding of CDMO industry, Cambrex capabilities and pharmaceutical life cycle.
Computer Understanding in Microsoft 365 Office Suite (word, excel, power point, teams, etc)
Must Have: ability to create Gantt charts

Travel:
Up to 5% per year for conferences, professional development activities, and/or company meetings and events.
The hiring range in Colorado for this position is $80,180 - $106,000 (Project Manager) and $95,000 - $125,000 (Senior Project Manager) ; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This hiring range encompasses several levels. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
