Aerotek CNC Mill Machinist in Long Lake, Minnesota
Job Title: Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate mills for short-run aerospace components. This machinist will be responsible for setting up the machine to run the first part, ensuring all pieces meet the standards of our ISO 9001-certified shop. You will not be required to program machines, but will set-up machines to produce parts with an average cycle time of 7-18 minutes. Jobs typically are shorter, ranging from 20-150 parts. The role requires the operation of multiple machines simultaneously, including brands such as Doosan, Mazak, and Matsuura. Additionally, you will perform quality inspections using equipment like surface indicators and height stands, particularly on threaded parts.
Hard Skills
Previous experience setting up CNC milling centers
