About the role

As a Retail Bank Senior Project Manager, you will lead, handle and coordinate multiple projects in varying stages that consist of interior and exterior renovation projects and infrastructure upgrades or new bank branch construction of retail bank branches for our Financial Services clients!

Ability to complete site visits in New York and Long Island is required.

What you’ll do

Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.

Interface directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & turning points, quality control, and risk identification.

Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process; conducts standard request for proposals; completes bid review; recommends resources to clients.

Lead resources/team providing project mentorship and direction to achieve project goals.

Implement communication plans for meetings, written reports and meeting minutes to ensure client and project resources are supervised in real time.

Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated. Facilitates and leads project teams meetings.

Manage progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Crafts action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.

Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to resolve impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk.

Solid track record to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with at least 5 years of shown experience. Instead of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.

  • Previous Project Management experience with commercial renovations and retail bank projects is a plus. General knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information with a willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

  • Ability to travel throughout New York and Long Island areas to complete site visits.

Equal Pay Disclaimer: CBRE Carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this Senior Project Manager position is $135,000 annually and the maximum salary for this Senior Project Manager position is $155,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
