Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with a strong focus on process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for optimization, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions that drive business success.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive analysis of current business processes to identify areas for improvement, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks.

Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, understand business needs, and define project objectives.

Develop detailed business requirements documentation, process flow diagrams, and other relevant documentation to support process improvement initiatives.

Utilize analytical tools and techniques to evaluate data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for process optimization.

Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews with stakeholders to gather insights, validate requirements, and drive consensus on solutions.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test process improvements and solutions.

Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions, gathering feedback and making adjustments as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.

Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes and best practices, providing guidance and support to internal teams as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degree preferred

Proven experience (X years) working as a Business Analyst or Process Improvement Specialist in a similar role

Strong understanding of business process analysis, process modeling, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BPMN)

Proficiency in analytical tools and techniques, including data analysis, root cause analysis, and statistical analysis

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable plans and solutions

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment

Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading process improvement initiatives from conception to implementation

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00-$105,570.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
