Job Summary

Support Program Manager in various automotive aftermarket-related job functions in Technical, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain Fields.  Assists with technical trainer inquiries, warranty review, PowerPoint assistance, engineering communication, inventory analysis, and general inquiries from traditional channels.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Assist Program Managers (PM) with customer responsibilities.

  • interpret Brake Related inquires and questions with oversight from the PM.

  • Develop an understanding of the brake pad industry and market trends to identify opportunities for business growth.

  • Collaborate with GRIE domain functions to develop customer centric processes and improvements.

  • Assist with regular business reviews with key accounts to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Assist with product training, technical support, and marketing materials to key accounts to facilitate product knowledge and sales growth.

  • Assist PM in addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive industry,

Assist and prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to the management team to support decision-making and strategic planning

Competencies

  • Desire to learn and grow in the automotive industry.

  • An understanding of the aftermarket parts sector.

  • Strong understanding of the automotive parts distribution channel, including experience working with distributors, retailers, and dealerships.

  • Good communication, and interpersonal skills, can create a positive attitude.

  • Customer-focused mindset, develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

  • Results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Education/Experience

  • Experience in automotive brake industry / service is preferred.

  • Graduate or Senior in Automotive related field.

  • Previous Parts experience a plus.

  • Analytical and able to make short- and long-term decisions.

  • Greater Chicago Area
