This is an exciting position for a recent grad looking to be part of a growing family business. You will be involved in the product development life cycle from start to finish. Participates in developing document specifications that outline revisions or additional features of existing products and the conception of new products. Completes market research to identify trends and/or needs of targeted clients/customers. Analyzes and compares competitor's product lines with the organization's current offerings. Develops strategies for competitive positioning to increase sales and promotions. Serves as a liaison between other departments to gather client/customer feedback and disseminate information about product development status.
Principle Responsibilities
Translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
Planning and designing product roadmap
Allocating resources
Prioritizing product features and communicating the reason behind this to the stakeholders
Pricing and revenue modeling
Defining and tracking success metrics
Communicating effectively with all stakeholders
Ensuring timely completion of the product without cost overruns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data in an organized manner
Self-motivated team player
Delivers on commitments, has strong follow-up skills, and shows consistency between words and actions
Highly organized, results-driven, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Analytical skills to understand the correlation between sales history, market demand, and forecast, then make sound procurement decisions.
Education/Experience:
College degree required - Engineering/ Business Preferred
Open to Entry Level candidates
Experience with business software packages such as Windows, Excel, and Microsoft Word
