Robert Half Dispatcher in Long Beach, California
Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Coordinate, schedule and dispatch Traffic Controllers as well as appropriate company vehicles or equipment to job sites.
Work closely with the project management team.
After-hours calls during the week.
On-call as scheduled, which will include some weekends.
Maintain tracking method for documenting dispatch efforts as it pertains to Traffic Controller response records.
Maintain and foster good working relationships between field crew and Operations.
Be able to work with Traffic Control plans and understand the field resources required for the job.
Maintain availability and/or coordinate on-call efforts after hours.
Monitor employee time off and be able to find coverage to ensure proper job implementation.
Report to the Dispatch Supervisor employee problems and/or concerns that may impact field operations.
Document Daily on Job on Time Report. Share findings with Dispatch Supervisor and Operations. Adjust dispatches based on findings to meet 95% Goal.
Monitor Branch Cameras for suspicious activities. Immediately report issues to Operations and Dispatch manager.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience with Technician or Mechanical Dispatching
