Sierra Nevada Corporation Senior Operations Analyst in Lone Tree, Colorado
Operations analysis influences every SNC technology, program, and strategic areas of focus. The successful candidate for this position will join a fast-paced, agile team of analysts focused on conducting sound, unbiased analysis to inform strategic, program, business development, and customer decisions. The candidate will work in a small team environment to execute impactful studies focused on quantifying the mission effectiveness of SNC technology concepts. This candidate will support concept of operations (CONOPS) evaluation, requirements definition, customer engagements, trade analyses, and proof of concept exercises.

Responsibilities:
Effectively executing study plans and shaping designs of experiments
Researching military scenario performance factors
Modeling and simulation of military systems and scenarios
Analyzing simulation results and conducting statistical analysis
Identifying insights within data sets
Constructing a clear, concise, effective story based on study findings
Presenting results to stakeholders of multiple levels of seniority
Must-haves:
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field of study (operations research, engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, military strategic studies) or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
Experience conducting military utility analysis, military operations research, or military operations analysis
Experience with DoD mission or above modeling programs (AFSIM, STK, BRAWLER, SUPPRESSOR, THUNDER, CFAM, EADSIM, ESAMS, etc)
Working knowledge of OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, or Long-Range Fires missions
Experience with trade-space analyses for radar, EO/IR, communications, or weapons payloads, using physics-based models
Experience working in or familiarity with object-oriented programming or standard tools such as MATLAB, Python, and C++ Superb presentation skills with presentation experience to decision-making and technical audiences
An active Secret security clearance is required
Preferred:
Master's degree or higher in Operations Research or related field of study (engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, military strategic studies)
Signal processing experience— for example, track fusion and filtering techniques
AFSIM Developer Training or AFSIM Plug-in development experience
Mission and/or Campaign level military analysis
Proficiency with software development using C++ Experience in SAP environments
Military organization, tactics, and capability knowledge
Project leadership experience
Operations analysis experience
An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $143,487.14 - $197,294.82. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
