The Sr. Manager, HR Workday Platform will play a critical role in leading the Workday Center of Excellence team, with a primary focus on enhancing the employee experience, improving capabilities and HR business team efficiency while fostering collaboration and engagement. The Sr. Manager will act as a key liaison with HR Stakeholders and Product Management, and guide solutions from concepts to launch by aligning technical and business needs. This role will also provide oversight of system enhancement projects, client support, and maintenance/upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Workday Configuration, Integration, Maintenance and Support team members, including clarity of role, performance management, engagement, and demand and capacity allocations according to the Workday roadmap/plans.
Promote employee growth and development, while providing coaching and feedback.
Organize work tasks from identification and assignment, to execution and implementation
Partner closely with HR Stakeholders and Product Management to guide the Workday Platform Roadmap, identify solutions, estimate effort to implement, and ensure team adheres to SDLC in the Workday release process.
Serve as a Workday evangelist with a solutions-oriented leadership style, enabling innovation, proposing/ implementing process improvements and maximizing platform utilization while supporting net-new offerings.
Oversee design and feature development, translating the product vision into actionable components.
Conduct high-level needs analysis, generate reports, and perform data analysis to aid decision-making.
Act as a change agent for a product-focused culture.
Address development challenges, escalate issues as needed, and maintain alignment with HR and IT leadership.
Ensure participation and alignment in planning activities, PI Plans, and sprint/agile ceremonies.
Improve transparency of Workday Platform delivery and support through regular updates on progress.
Solicit requirements from business teams to ensure understanding prior to development.
Ensure all Workday system documentation, data mapping and management, operational runbooks, workflow, and procedure documentation is updated for Production Support
Relentlessly pursue opportunities for automation across HR Business Processes and Workday solution offerings.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
Proven HR technology leadership experience in a role of similar scope and responsibility.
Experience optimizing HR capabilities/services within the Workday platform.
7+ years of Workday Platform experience, including 2+ years in team leadership, contributing to the Workday implementation(s) of HR products – HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning, Recruiting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Best of Suite / Workday experience
Proven ability to drive and implement product roadmaps, manage complex projects, and lead strategic initiatives.
Strong communication, analytical and collaboration skills, with experience interacting at all levels of an organization.
Agile experience and familiarity with production delivery release processes.
Ability to build trusted relationships with business partner and communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
Strong understanding of business processes to identify opportunities to leverage technology to streamline and automate processes and improve the employee experience.
Proven success troubleshooting technical issues within applications and systems and engaging the appropriate stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for driving change and delivering outstanding user/employee experiences.

CO Salary Range: USD $101,000 - $224,400 / Year
