The Practice Intelligence team sits within Schwab’s Retail Sales Operations business to support our client-facing professionals and drive scale into their daily experience. Our strategic and operational support help identify new clients and deepen existing client relationships with the ultimate vision of delivering an industry-leading wealth management experience as a trusted advisor. As the Practice Intelligence Sr. Manager, you’ll be responsible for setting strategic vision and providing guidance, actionable data-driven insights, and innovative technology to enhance the Financial Consultant experience, ultimately driving client engagement, improving efficiency, and driving business growth.

We collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders, field partners, executive leadership, data science/analytics, product/technology, and marketing to fulfill the vision. The Sr. Manager, Practice Intelligence will initially support creation of a new financial consultant homepage that brings together multiple layers of data, insights, and artificial intelligence to help streamline how they manage their practice. As new intelligence capabilities are developed, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for providing rep-experience oversight, product development guidance, and opportunities to integrate into daily workflows.

In this role, you will report to a Director – Retail Sales Operations.

What you will do

  • Act as the business owner for Practice Intelligence - own all business aspects of the program ultimately championing our Sales professional’s needs.

  • Opportunity Assessments – Define the business need. The assessment involves identifying the issue, defining the problem, creating project plans, analyzing data to inform potential solutions, partnering with our digital teams to define the product solution, and, finally, communicating to senior executives and client facing representatives alike.

  • Roadmap Development - Support annual planning process, support business cases for investment, and own evolving roadmap.

  • Stakeholder Management - The business owner plays a major role in stakeholder management, working closely with marketing and sales leadership.

  • Partner Management - The business owner manages the relationships with key partners (e.g., Sales teams, product teams, marketing, data and analytics, etc.) acting as a funnel to aggregate and prioritize feedback to the product owner.

  • Business and Impact Analysis - Analyze the day-to-day business performance identifying pain-points and devising and executing impact of solution rollouts in partnership with our Data & Analytics organization.

  • Field Activation -Develop and own a portion of the Field activation plan, monitor adoption, and engage relevant business partners to drive adoption.

What you have

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Program Management – 5+ years of full-time experience managing all aspects of a product. Setting vision, developing business cases, and executing against strategy.

  • Superior analytical skills – 2+ years of data analysis experience in Excel and Tableau and translating insights into concise, executive-level presentations using PowerPoint.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM

  • A bias for action - the ability to operate autonomously, overcome obstacles, tackle challenges creatively, and successfully execute (at times) under tight deadlines. Curiosity for learning the intricacies of the business, systems, and processes is a must.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • MBA

  • Technology Fluency -ability to converse with technology and product teams and comfort being part of high level architectural, platform, and delivery conversations. Tableau, Microsoft Teams, an/or data infrastructure proficiency is a plus.

  • Domain Knowledge - Some background in Financial Consultant / advisor responsibilities and corresponding products and programs while not essential, is valued.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity -exploring new, yet untested concepts, ideas, programs and tackling new problems that require working with a wide variety of partners to find solutions.

  • Background - Financial Services industry experience, while not essential, is preferred.

CO Salary Range: USD $140,000 - $160,000 / Year
