Sierra Nevada Corporation International Trade Compliance Analyst II - Governance in Lone Tree, Colorado

As an International Trade Compliance Analyst II, you'll be using your skills and expertise to support our comprehensive export and import compliance program, ensuring conformity with US trade regulations, managing export and import authorizations, and contributing to technology release initiatives. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and build key relationships with appropriate government regulatory agencies as you facilitate compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), the Export Controls Act (ECA), US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), US Customs regulations and relevant foreign customs regulations.
Our team is responsible for government affairs, international strategy, international business, and trade and regulatory compliance. We provide strategic guidance across the organization, helping to find alignment and compliance between SNC and the national security priorities of the U.S. government.
Responsibilities:
Compliance investigations, assessments, and audits
Compliance process and procedure management
Due diligence on international third parties
Dissemination of of regulatory updates
Design and delivery of trade compliance training
Production of trade compliance communications such as blog posts and newsletter features
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
Typically 2+ years of relevant experience
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Able to effectively and clearly communicate complex regulatory requirements and solutions
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Practical knowledge of ITAR & EAR concepts
Understanding of customs processes and compliance
Understanding of OCR EASE, DTRADE/DECCS, SNAP-R, Customs ACE
Experience conducting trade compliance assessments, audits, training, and outreach

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $71,338.47 - $98,090.40. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
