Sierra Nevada Corporation Associate Program Manager (Contingent Upon Award) in Lone Tree, Colorado

Are you ready to use your leadership and skills in a program management position? This is your opportunity! As an Associate Program Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to manage our cost, schedule, and engineering deliverables, ranging from small to highly complex, for the enterprise. You'll be responsible for conducting routine meetings, interfacing on project/program status, developing proposals, researching/fact-finding, coordinating audits, and negotiating with project/program stakeholders to ensure enterprise initiatives meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Responsibilities:

  • Managing programmatic risks

  • Managing program staffing

  • Manage program financials

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and drive others to success

  • Requires strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules

  • Requires ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations

  • The ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

  • Typically 1-3 years of related experience or;

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Aviation or Management and typically 1-3 years of program management experience

  • Managing projects requiring Earned Value Management

  • Understanding with application tools and data architectures

  • Experience with ensuring compliance with approved Corporate and ISO 9001:2000 Policies and Processes

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $91,154.71 - $125,337.72. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
