Job Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining and operating the water installed water systems ensuring safe and sufficient water supply to the building. Responsible for the safety of the water supply monitoring water quality and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Hours & Benefits:

● 40 hours per week - Monday-Friday

● Location: Kings Cross

● Yearly salary (competitive)

● 25 days holiday + bank holidays

Key Tasks:

● Conduct tests on the water to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.

● Inspect and maintain equipment associated with the water systems in the building.

● Carry out maintenance on water treatment equipment.

● Advise on water safety and health regulations.

● Understand, comply and implement statutory health and safety regulations with regard to the tasks being undertaken.

● Understand and implement organisational safety requirements for themselves and others, including responsibility and supervision for safe access to water systems and the handling of chemicals.

● Maintain a safe environment for other building occupants during water treatment operations including any relevant signage and notifications.

● Able to contribute to the development of operational solutions and improvements e.g., safer working practices.

● Assess the performance of a water system treatment programmes and provide recommendations for improvement

● Maintain all required statutory documentation regards the installed water systems.

● Provide guidance to PMs to ensure facilities are in full compliance with all local regulatory requirements

● Participate in water facility audits and project reviews

● Assist in preparation of audit findings and recommendations

● Provide guidance and support in conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis for environmental excursions
